What is JK Select Baseball?
JK Select Baseball is a nationwide youth baseball development program founded by NBA Hall of Famer Jason Kidd, under the umbrella of the Jason Kidd Foundation. We bring Hall of Fame leadership, elite coaching, and a team-first culture to young athletes — developing them on and off the field.
What age groups does JK Select field?
Our national travel program fields teams at the 15u, 16u, and 17u levels. We also have JK Select Regional programs in Hawaii, San Diego, Illinois, and Missouri.
What's the difference between JK Select National and a JK Select Regional program?
JK Select competes at two levels. Our National teams — JK Select National 15u, 16u, and 17u — are elite travel teams that compete against the top programs in the country. Our Regional Teams are local programs that carry the JK Select name in their own community, like JK Select Hawaii and JK Select San Diego, bringing the same development model and national-exposure pathway to athletes in their region.
Where are JK Select Regional programs located?
JK Select Regional programs currently include JK Select Hawaii, JK Select San Diego, JK Select Illinois, and JK Select Missouri, with more communities being added as the program grows. See the Regional Teams page for details.
Where do the National teams compete?
Our national teams play the premier stops on the travel-baseball calendar, including the PBR National Program Invitational, USA Baseball National Team Championships, and Perfect Game's WWBA National Championship, World Series, and National Elite Championship — events that draw the most college and professional scouts in the country.
How do I try out or join?
Complete our prospect form to be considered — it's the best way to introduce yourself to our coaches and stay informed about opportunities.
When and where are tryouts held?
Current tryout dates and locations are listed on our Tryouts page. Dates are posted by each individual program and can change throughout the season, so check there for the latest.
Can I bring a JK Select program to my area?
Yes — if you'd like to bring a JK Select regional program to your community, reach out through our interest form and our staff will follow up.
